09:00 am Visit Bang Pa In, the Summer Palace of the Kings of Thailand, dating back to the Seventeenth century. From the 14th to the 18th century it was one of the largest and most beautiful cities in the world and a centre of trade. In 1767 Ayutthaya was abandoned after being invaded and destroyed by the Burmese army, never to be rebuilt. The city is listed as one of UNESCO World Heritage Sites as it portrays one of the greatest kingdoms in South Asian history.
