General Description

Kanchanaburi is a lush and amazing province west of Bangkok, famous for its scenic river and natural sceneries as well as for the tragic history of the “death railway” built by the Allied soldiers during World War II. After the pick up in hotel, transfer by private vehicle to Kanchanaburi (about 2 hours) to visit the War Cemetery and the War Museum. Soon after, board the train and take a scenic ride on the Bridge Over the River Kwai, stopping at Kra-sae station for stunning photo of the Death Railway and the curving bridge. Then explore the Kra-sae Cave before taking a well deserved break and a Thai buffet lunch in a local restaurant. After lunch, have fun and relax at the Sai Yoke Noi Waterfall. Then it’s time to start the return transfer to Bangkok.
