Day 1

Hanoi - Arrival

Welcome to Hanoi, the capital of Vietnam! Get picked up from the airport and transferred down-town Hanoi for hotel check in. The rest of the day is free at your leisure to relax or check out Hanoi vibrant streets.

Day 2

Hanoi City tour

Breakfast at hotel. Start your day tour with a visit to the Temple of Literature. Continue to the Ho Chi Minh Memorial complex for visits to the Mausoleum, an impressive marble building where Ho Chi Minh, the historic figure and father of modern Vietnam is at rest. Walk along the shady path and admire the colonial charm of Presidential Palace, nearby is the iconic One Pillar Pagoda, a symbol of Hanoi. Get transferred to the West Lake for your visit to the ancient Quan Thanh, a Taoist temple dedicated to God of the Black sky, famous with the black bronze statue of God. Next is the Tran Quoc Pagoda, a beautiful landmark of Hanoi.
After lunch you will have a visit to fascinating Women Museum and Hoa Lo Prison. Later, take a walking tour around some of Hanoi Old Quarter’s streets and Hoan Kiem Lake where you will understanding of local life with lots of photo opportunities around you.
This evening you will take an overnight train ride to Lao Cai, the gateway to Sapa.

Day 3

Sapa and surroundings

Arrive in the border town of Lao Cai early in the morning; get picked up for one-hour drive uphill through cloud and pristine, spectacular landscape to little town of Sapa.
Locates in the middle height of the Hoang Lien Mountain Range, this former French hill station and its surroundings is famous for beautiful weather, spectacular natural landscapes of mountain, forest and hillside terraces. This is home to some of most colourful hill tribe communities in the country.
Freshening yourself up with wash and breakfast in a restaurant then get ready for your adventure of Sapa landscape.
From Sapa town you will take a light trek down hill along Muong Hoa Valley. This path provides great scenery of nature with mountain, forest and terrace fields that carpet along hill slopes. On the trek, you will see minority people from some hill tribes with their typical appearance and colourful dress walking, working and playing. It is the chance for interesting local interaction and filling up your album with beautiful photos.
Keep trekking down further to visit to minority villages of H’mong and Dzay people. check in the bungalow – a homestay of H’mong people, refresh then take a light trek explore surrounding.
At sunset, sipping a cup of tea while enjoy marvellous rice terrace from your bungalow’s balcony. Have dinner with local family, indulge hill-tribe culture and overnight at the bungalow in village, among atmosphere of local and rice terrace.

Day 4

Trekking – Sapa Town

After waking up from a very good sleep, a healthy breakfast will be served and help you to kick up a new day. After the breakfast, you will meet up with the tour guide and head to another adventure. You will trek to the bamboo forest, Seo Mi Ti village and Giang Ta Chai’s waterfall to witness the daily life of the H’Mong and the Red Dao people. After a break to enjoy the fabulous view from the waterfall, you will trek back to Ta Van homestay to have lunch and pack up your gear head back to Sapa town by a car. Check in the hotel upon arrival Sapa town and quick relax. Mid-afternoon: Transfer to Sun World Fansipan Legend, take cable-cart to top of Indochina’s roof. You will enjoy great view from Fansipan peak; explore mountain trails and some pagodas and great mountain landscape.

Day 5

Sapa - Hanoi

Breakfast at hotel. You are free in morning for shopping or chill-out at coffee shop, stroll around charming town, drop in central church, Sapa market. In the afternoon transfer (5 hours) from Sapa to Hanoi. Check in hotel upon arrival and free as your leisure.

Day 6

Hanoi - Halong Bay

Breakfast at hotel then check out for two and half hours transfer to Halong Bay.
Check in on board traditional styled junk then enjoy your cruise between the towering islands whilst savour a sumptuous seafood lunch. Visit a limestone cave in the afternoon and do some kayaking and swimming (depending on the weather).

Day 7

Halong explore - Hanoi

Wake up early in the morning to catch the sunrise over the Bay’s spectacular landscape with a cup of tea or coffee. Have breakfast in the fresh air and then take enjoy rowing boat tour around to visit to a floating village. Later, you will cruise to visit another part of the bay and lunch will be served on you way back to the harbour. Disembark at noontime and get transfer back to Hanoi. The rest of the day is at your leisure for further explore Hanoi and perhaps to indulge with some fantastic shopping.

Hanoi - Departure

Breakfast at hotel. Today is departure day so no activities planed. Enjoy your free time until get a transfer to the airport for your onward flight.

Travelers can cancel the tour before the deadline of cancellation; charges will be applied according to the cancellation deadline. The date of cancellation is the date in which the written communication od cancellation is received by the company.  Charges are a percentage of the total tour price per person, including surcharges but excluding any amendment charges and any insurance payment.
