This Malaysia tour offers a comprehensive overview of the country’s top attractions, balancing cultural, natural and historical visits. The journey starts in dynamic Kuala Lumpur, then moves to UNESCO World Heritage Malacca, before exploring Malaysia’s interior regions like the Cameron Highlands tea plantations and pristine Belum Rainforest. The trip culminates on the fascinating island of Penang, known for its colonial architecture, multi-ethnic temples and rich culinary culture. This itinerary allows travelers to fully immerse themselves in Malaysia’s history, nature and cultural diversity, providing a complete and rewarding travel experience.
Arrival at Kuala Lumpur Klia International Airport. Transfer to the hotel. At 1.45 pm pick up at the hotel and start of the city tour. The visit consists of an orientation tour of the capital to learn about the history, culture, and architecture of Malaysia. You will cross the Lake Garden with stops at the National Mosque and Independence Square, the center of English life during the period of colonization, along which the most important buildings are located. From here you can walk to visit the Central Market and the Jamek Mosque (only externally), the oldest in Kuala Lumpur, built in the heart of the old city, on the strip of land that separates the two rivers and which saw their birth. Free time to wander around the Chinatown district; at the end, transfer by bus to the Kampung Baru district where you can see typical Malay-style houses. The tour ends with a stop to take a photo at the Petronas Towers.

Days dedicated to visiting Malacca which is about a two-hour transfer from Kuala Lumpur. The visit includes the Dutch Square, a historic center with splendid examples of Dutch colonial architecture, and the Porte de Santiago, the last vestige of the great Portuguese fortress “A Famosa“. Walk through the streets of the old part of the city. You will visit the Baba Nyonya museum and stop for lunch at a local restaurant. At the end of lunch, you will visit the Chinese temple of Cheng Hoon Teng and the Kampung Kling Mosque. The last stop is at the Bukit China, the largest Chinese cemetery outside of China. Return to Kuala Lumpur in the late afternoon.

At 8.30-9.00 am, depart from the hotel lobby for Cameron Highlands. You drive through a scenic jungle road and make a stop at a small mansion of Orang Asli (native people) along the way. Upon arrival in Cameron Highlands, visit the tea plantation and later check in at your hotel. Overnight stay.

At 8.30-9.00 a.m. we will head to the island of the “Bukit Merah Orang Utan” Foundation, the only orangutan research facility in Peninsular Malaysia. A 20-minute boat transfer on the lake will take us to the island. This island serves as a sanctuary for Orang Utan breeding and a conservation, research, and education center to study and protect this endangered species. From Bukit Merah, we’ll drive about an hour to the royal city of Kuala Kangsar, where we’ll visit the Ubudiah Mosque. From there, we’ll continue to the Belum Rainforest Reserve, located near the border with Thailand. The journey will take about 3 hours. Once arrived we will check in at the nature lodge in Belum. Dinner and overnight stay at the lodge.
A visit to Orang Utan Island is not guaranteed depending on the water level in Lake Merah

At 9.00 a.m. we will start our tour with a two-and-a-half-hour hike in the Belum Forest. A wonderful dive into the fauna and flora of the reserve, one of the oldest and most pristine rainforests in Malaysia. A light picnic lunch is included during the excursion. At 13.00 we will return to the resort for check-out. At 14.00 we will take the road to Penang. Upon arrival on the island, we will check in at the hotel.
Please note that an entry permit is required to access Belum State Park. We will request a copy of each client’s passport 14 days in advance.

After breakfast at the hotel at 0830/0900 hrs, full day dedicated to the visit of Penang. We start with a visit to the Thai Temple of the Sleeping Buddha and the Burmese Temple and proceed with a visit to the temple of Kek Lok Si and a visit to Fort Cornwallis, the ancient fort built by Sir Francis Light, founder of this British settlement. Free time to admire the colonial architecture of the surrounding palaces. We proceed with a visit to the Khoo Kongsi, a beautiful Chinese Clan House and the Botanical Garden.
