General Description

Experience the essence of Bali in this 7-day cultural journey. From ancient temples and traditional villages to stunning landscapes and vibrant performances, immerse yourself in the rich heritage and natural beauty of the Island of Gods.

 

Itinerary

Day 1Sanur

Upon arrival in Bali, transfer to your hotel in Sanur. Check-in and overnight stay.
Meals: N/A

Day 2Sanur – full day Mother Temple

After breakfast in hotel, departure at 8:00 a.m. for the Balinese village of Penglipuran, located 700 m above sea level. It is best known for its well-preserved traditional culture and village layout. Then, it continues to Besakih, the most important and largest temple in Bali. The temple was built in the 11th century at an altitude of 1000 m on the slopes of Mount Agung, the sacred volcano of Bali. Lunch is served at a local restaurant with a beautiful view of the Bukit Jambul hills. After lunch we will visit the incredible painted ceilings of the old Klungkung courthouse, Kerta Gosa, where we will be able to admire the ancient frescoes showing ancient methods of punishment. Return to the hotel in the late afternoon.

Day 3Sanur – full day Paradise

After breakfast in the hotel, departure at 08:00 for the province of Tabanan. The first stop is the “Pura Luhur Batukaru“, one of the six most important temples on the island. Built in the thirteenth century, it is located on the slopes of the volcano. On the way to the restaurant, stop at Jatiluwih where you can admire the beautiful rice terraces, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. After lunch, stop at the local market in Candikuning. The last stop of the day is in Bedugul where we will visit the Pura Ulu Danu temple on Lake Beratan. The temple of Ulun Danu is located in the plateau area, 1200 m above sea level. Return to the hotel in the late afternoon. Overnight stay.

Day 4Sanur – full day Majestic Volcano

Departure at 8.00 a.m., after breakfast in the hotel, to Batubulan, where you will witness the exciting Barong Dance, the most famous traditional dance in Bali, which represents the struggle between good and evil. The journey continues to Tegallalang, one of the most beautiful rice terraces in Bali then to Sebatu, the temple of holy water. After we head to Kintamani to admire the scenery above the crater of Mount Batur and Lake Batur. Traditional Balinese lunch is served at a local restaurant. In the afternoon you will visit Gunung Kawi, a temple and funerary complex from the 11th century. On the way back to your hotel, you will make a stop at the woodcarving village of Mas and the village of Batuan, well known for its art galleries. After the tour, return to the hotel.

Day 5Sanur – half day Monkey Forest/Mengwi/Tanah Lot

Departure at 8:00 a.m., after breakfast in the hotel, to visit the sacred forest of Sangeh, populated by different tribes of monkeys who protect the temple from evil spirits. Next, you will reach the Taman Ayun Royal Temple in the Mengwi area. It was built in 1634 by the King of Mengwi. It is a beautiful temple with a multi-storey roof and Balinese architecture. There is a large landscaped garden in the front courtyard to accommodate all visitors. After we will continue to our next destination, the famous Tanah Lot temple, a unique place that stands on a rock in the middle of the sea. Return to the hotel in the afternoon.

Day 6Sanur – Hd Ubud Village

Breakfast in the hotel. Departure at 13:00 to Ubud to visit the Monkey Forest. You will visit the Ubud Art Market. Early dinner at a local restaurant. At 6.30 pm, the journey continues to Puri Saren Agung, in the center of Ubud where you will have the chance to watch a traditional dance in what was once the residence of the last king of Ubud. The show starts at 19.00 and lasts about three and a half hours. After the show, return to the hotel. Overnight stay.

Day 7Sanur - Departure

After breakfast in the hotel, free time until transfer to the airport for the return flights.
