Stop at Phra Nang Beach

Departure from the pier and, after almost 15 minutes, arrival at Phra Nang beach. Time for swimming and relax on the beach

Phra Nang is an hidden gem in the secluded Railay Peninsula. Phra Nang is that kind of beach you may see in postcard or brochures with its Tiffany-blue waters and its white sand beach that are, indeed, the highlight of this beautiful place. What makes the difference is the spectacular frame of limestone formations coming out of the sea, natural paradise for the rock climbers, which are probably the most stunning in Krabi. On the right end side of the beach there is a small cave with lots of phallic looking sculptures inside. This is the Princess Cave, a votive shrine to fertility dedicated to a legendary princess. To complete the landscape of this top place, a touch of local life with food vendors on their long tail boat providing for visitors drinks, snacks and easy to eat Thai food.

Stop for snorkeling

Arrival in Chicken Island off shore and time for snorkel

The island despite the name, is not populated by chickens, and there isn’t any legend about young girls turned into a chicken due to unrequited love by any merciless God. Chicken Island, whose true name is Dam Khwan Island, owes its nickname to the chicken head shaped rock located on the southern part of the island. Chicken Island is a limestone mountain covered by vegetation with a couple of small beaches appearing with the low tide and it is well renowned for a spectacular snorkelling among tiger fishes and coral gardens. The characteristic island shape is actually a kind of local trade mark and obviously became the symbol of Krabi sea.

Stop at Tup Island

Arrival at Tup Island and its sand bank

Time for relax on the beach, swimming and snorkelling.

Koh Yawasam (this is the true name of Tup Island) is great in its simplicity: it may appear as a small insignificant island with limited beach space to enjoy but, if you look beyond appearances once you get off the boat, you will realise that you have just arrived in a mesmerising place, a small paradise of clear waters and a white beach. Tup Island is located half way between Poda and Chicken Island and it’s just a bit more than a narrow strip of sand. Its peculiarity is the sand bank, a thin sandy strip that, according to the tide, separates or connects two islands. During low tide you can enjoy a memorable walk from Tup to Chicken Island. So if it’s high or low tide you would get different views as well as different experiences.

Stop at Poda Island

Arrival at Poda Island, lunch break and time to spend until the end of tour

Poda is a scenic and beautiful Island, the nearest to Ao Nang, just 15 minutes by speed boat from mainland. Poda’s large beach offer great space to sit or lie in the sun although beach chairs and umbrellas are not allowed. With its white sand beach, the surrounding limestone cliff and rain forest, Poda Island may represent everything one could ask for a relaxing time. The Island is caressed by a warm amber water excellent for swimming and snorkelling among dozens of little striped fishes brave enough to get close to bathers. A perfect destination for a day excursion from Ao Nang.

Return to Hotel (approx 14:00)

Board the speed boat and move back to the pier and, following, transfer back to the hotels.
